It was my impression as I was reading the story
that both story arcs would reach the same conclusion.
Nothing prepared me for this ending, though. Beautiful!

So, no matter which Universe it is, Hermione is right, Harry does not believe her, Voldemort dies, Harry lives, and she ends up dead or miserable. Life is a **, and then you die.
Strange story, well worth reading.

I greatly enjoyed this fic. I loved the duality between the two Snapes. It seemed ironic how well the two universes were juxtaposed with "Bad Snape" actually been good and vice versa.

It also made me think of what would have happened to the Order without Snape's cooperation. Your hints really came through.

Um, I like the first part of these chapters, but the second half just plain confuses me. Where exactly does that part take place? Sorry, but it just lost me, especially the first chapter. However, I do like the story.

This is strange and interesting. Very original idea. It is a little on the short side though.

Disturbing story, especially the AU parts. But that leaves one question open, at least for me: Was Snape doomed to be an evil person? I mean even canon-Snape is at least partly evil. He may have turned to the "Light Side", but he has done a lot of "unforgivable" deeds before and after he turned.
Isn't there an alternative universe where Snape forgets his childhood hatred and becomes a totally normal member of the Order of the Phoenix after graduating? Ok, I admit it would be boring to read a ff on this basis, but I'm only interested in the possibility of it.
Oh, and don't get me wrong, "disturbing" doesn't mean I didn't like your story.
I especially liked the parallel between the end of Snape in the AU part and the first end of Voldemort in canon. Both times the probably most powerful wizard of the time is defeated by a mere girl sacrificing her live for Harry.

one of the most fascinating stories I've read, even if it's a dark one. I felt sad for Snape's death in the 1st part, and fascinated by a dark Snape in 2nd part. I can't help but wonder how the story would have developed if Hermione had taken Snape on his proposal and married him.

I am left unsatisfied by Hermione's victory in the alternate universe. I hold to my opinion that only authorial cheating could have given her the power to beat someone whose intellect (and power and determination) was so much greater than her own in canon.
