Reviews for: A Bad Day
CornflowerBlue 3/25/06 . chapter 1
Aw...that was sweet...

hmm...math...need help? hehe...yah, i know. most of my classmates have difficulty dealing with 'em, too. algebra, trigonometry, calculus...but really, it can be dealt with. Math is...fun.

hehee, "Mathematics is not memorized equations and formulas...it is an aspect to be learned and internalized from the mind and heart."

i really liked this fic, by the way. I hope you make more fics of this calibre..._

I like it. Yes, math can be horrendous at times, and even though there was no "excitement" as you put it, it still had a very "real" feeling about the story, and that is what counts in this situation, right?

hiya!

i only just read this, in spite of getting the alert whenever it was. I'm glad I did. I hope writing this did chase the blues away. (I wander along here sometimes.)I've seen some of the anime, not all of it due to time restraints, but I do enjoy it.

I like the setting, and the quietness of a rainy day in a cafe. Your Ginji comes across as he is.The little 'Paul' thoughts are a nice touch. All in all a well written piece.(as is your wont!)

much love and hugs (even if a little late,)

oh noes! Sad Natsumi! It's a good thing ginji was around
Atropos' Knife 3/10/06 . chapter 1
Lo, thanking God it is Friday night, I finally get to switch on my home PC for the first time in days - and to my extreme delight chance upon this little gem. I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate reading something like this after a week of work, but thank you, THANK YOU for writing this. _

Ugh, as someone who flunked "al jaa zebra" far too many times to care, I can empathize with Natsumi (and you :P) here ). I like that you've portrayed her as a 'real' character who, after all, is still a normal high school student beset by normal school tribulations under that bubbly bishoujo exterior. In fact, as the manga's Birth Arcs show, Natsumi can get feisty and have a bit of a temper as well; so writing her as moody isn't at all OOC.

Ginji... is being Ginji. You've got him so much in character - from the way he launches into his usual pep talks and being thoughtful with the sandwich and chores; down to the way he bungles words. And I LOVE how you made Paul keenly see Ginji's real power at work - with barely a word needed to be spoken. Paul RULES (and hogs the cover of GetBackers Vol. 34, yay!)!

Such nice Honky Tonk dynamics you've written here. Great job! As always, it's a treat to see you writing for this fandom (still) and I hope to read more from you soon (btw, I still owe you reviews on your Samurai 7 fics. My bad. It will be done sometime, I promise V).

Cheers!

Well, I'm sure it wasn't an algebra class that gave you the problems, but I do get the idea. I must admit, problems with exams can be rather depressing. I will also admit that I haven't thought to keep you on m y prayer list.

Oh, yea, I've started watching some Get bacers. Ihaven't decided how well I like it yet.
