good story... and so sad yet full of promise. I hope Sara will convince him to wait on the resignation. Such decisions should not be made in the midst of crisis. Perhaps with the morning she will convince him to take personal leave. Who knows what the morning will bring? After all, he did catch the child's killer. He may realize all he does for good to prevent other deaths. What about the mother of his child. What happened to he? And how could this litle fact have been kept secret all this time? Ecklie is such a creep, I am sure he would have tried to look up dirt on Gil just to make his life miserable. Thanks for writing this.

Intersting storyline and it could explain someof Grissom's Hangups. It will be intersting to see Grissom as a teacher. I hope to read lots more chapters and see how the G/S relationship develops.
