I love the repetition here. No. No. Go home Misao. Yes. Yes. Go home Misao. Quiet. Silent. Calm. And all he wants is a peace he will never have. Exquisite.

oh, i revel in the angst of this! it's so sad..so nicely written...

Predictable and yet not. I really liked it. Misao sounds like Misao. Aoshi sounds like Aoshi - simply because he doesn't sound like anything. ("No.") ... and then.

The last word had it all, the pleading, the poignance. So much impact, coming from Aoshi. "Please."

I loved that it wasn't long - no rambling, nothing that detracted from the focus on Aoshi and Misao. Really good.

Absolutely beautiful, although it ended on a sad note.

aw! tis soo sad! AOshi is a fool! like all the other RK guys! like at the ending of the anime (episode 95 or something like that) kenshin didn't even say that he loved kaoru! hmf.. stupid aoshi!

This is a very beautiful Aoshi/Misao fic. It fits perfectly the words short and sweet. Now we know our favorite icicle is not so 'icy'.

E...that WAS short...unusual storyline. It's nice to see an A/M fic where Aoshi doesn't want to love her once in a while.

Short but beautiful. Really. Poor stupid Aoshi, torturing himself like that . . . but I guess that's the way females (Misao included) like their men: dark mysterious and tortured, as long as they manage to come to their senses someday.

A follow-up fic would be really, really nice, though. *bats eyelashes*

Gah! That was really good. I loved the way it was so simple, predictable, almost serene... until the very last paragraph. Very in character, for both Aoshi and Misao. Absolutely fabulous. And that last paragraph is increadibly powerful. Love it! Keep it up. Cheers, Cathan
