That was actually hilarious. Great job on Illyria; before this I would have never pictured her as the journal-writing type, but you made it incredibly believable and humourous to boot. Wonderful.

This has got to be one of the best Illyria-centered fanfics I've ever read! Seriously, this is amazing! I love the way you convey her thoughts and impressions of the human world. It must be so hard for her to adjust. And humour is brilliant! ^_^

I'm sorry I haven't reviewed this chapter sooner. I'm in total agreement with Illyria about Andrew-he's just too much! I would probably want to break his kneecaps too. Anyway, I really am enjoying this story. I do miss Lindsey, however. Did she even meet him? I wonder.

The last couple paragraphs - bones breaking - were genius. Seiously, that line MADE this chapter.

I have to say this is your best chapter and I loved it. Love Illyria's surfacing humanity and the nostalgic conversation with Angel. The indigo bit was just funny. The next entry was abrupty hilarious and you had Andrew's character so right. I just rewatched the last episode and the line about Wes' smile and memories of him just breaks my heart all over again.

I must say I'm glad I'm not Illyria's sister-talk about sibling rivalry! I love her idea of "stripping," however. "Revolting people. I will allow you to kiss my boots, and in return, you shall give me money." Allowing people to worship me had not met expectations thus far. I LOVE IT! I love the "guy with gelled-up hair" singing Mandy and being rewarded by pelting with rotten tomatoes. I wish I'd been there. Great choice of song by Illyria! I guess Spike wasn't playing poker for kittens this time! Anyway, great chapter. I love it!

I had started a review of this chapter but must have somehow erased this. However, I really love it. "I grew weary of their bickering and knocked them both unconscious." I love it! "His presence stained the night as bile might ruin the great works of Old Art." I love it. "Servant! Turn back to me this instant!" I love it. I love the salesman's reaction to Illyria's rant. "Say goodbye to that oak tree you're so fond of. Tell it we'll send it lots of postcards." I love it.

Why didn't they bring the "werewolf concubine" with them? Is it over?

I must admit you've captured Illyria very well. I didn't know the Old Ones had a Fang Fairy-who leaves souls! Very original. I love her reaction to Barry Manilow & Copacabana! Her description of what she would have done to a thief is colorful, to say the least. This is excellent.

This is so spot-on, especially Illyria and Spike. The little Lorne excerpt was great, too. Please update soon!

Have you thought about finding a bonsai tree. They are small, portable, and very talkataive and live for hundreds of years. Oh and nice about the part about Angel getting splatted by the two rotten tommatos.
