Me again. This is such a vivid poem. It makes me want to read the Simarillion again.

Definitely good. It sounds a bit pretentious when you read the summary, but it makes for a very good piece of poetry.

You muight want to consider changing the summary a little, though.

Eru the one gave you your talent,

And you have used it well.

May your songs wake the stars of Elebereth,

And reach the elves that fell.

Though deserts bare and the raging sea,

Across forests of bushs and mountains of trees,

Truth be told, I was more than a little reluctant to read this. The Ainulindale and everything... well, you have to admit it does sound a bit pretentious at first glance.

This is very cool! Very much like I've imagined the Ainulindale to have been, only of course I think it would have been incredibly longer, so long that it would take hours to read or sing. And I'd love to see someone's attempt at the music for this! It would be almost impossible, I think...You've written a very beautiful poem, one that is good not just because it's Tolkien (yeah, I'm a rabid fan...) but also as a poem in itself. I cannot believe no one has reviewed this yet. You are a truly talented poet; this captures the spirit of creation magnificently. Furthermore, the meter works very well, as do the rhymes. I especially like the line, "World in the darkness, shining, Ea!" Kudos!
