The story is interesting so far, but I have to admit that the consistent use of "elan" for power is kind of grinding on my senses. Elan is a noun, but it's adjectival, like "animated" or "effusive" or "vivacious," it's not an actual thing or power.

Are you ever going to update...i have been waiting so patiently... i know alot of other people have as well...
