You know, my first ever crush was on the Artful Dodger, and I never think I really got over it XD.

He's probably also what gave my my obsession with reading about Victorian London crime and the East End. Can't even tell you how many books I have on it.

This captures The Dodger beautifully and I think it's a very well written poem.

That was really really good!! I've personally seen loads of great poetic (and fictional) works that resulted from an English assignment. Actually, I had to write a poem for my English class just today. It had to be written in the Puritan form, with those cursed Iamic Couplets. Gr.

This is awesomely brilliant! I love how you've encapsulated the Artful Dodger and his pluck in one expertly-written sonnet. I enjoyed how it began - "I steal from the rich and I give it to me". I found that incredibly funny, because well, I've been mucking about the Robin Hood fandom for so long that the old adage "take-from-the-rich-and-give-to-the-poor" becomes incredibly boring after awhile.
