So, I know this story is pretty old, but I found it on someone's favorites list and it interested me. (: I loved it, and I even teared up at the end! I'd have to say that the ending was my favorite part. It really solved the main problem of the story, which wasn't redeeming Anakin as much as it was Luke and Leia finding and loving their parents. However, there were some things that I think I have to mention:

1. I'm not going to be too crazy about this, because you said that you were not a native English speaker, so I can understand your mistakes (however few of them there were). You seemed to have a little issue with verb tenses. Honestly, the mistakes were so minor that it didn't really affect the story, but I just wanted to point it out :)
2. Luke and Leia seemed a lot weaker than they were in canon. I mean, Leia battled clone troopers and withstood torture from Vader while Luke was trained and Knighted as a Jedi by Yoda. I just thought that they could've been a little tougher.
3. I wondered why they didn't try to tell people about Palpatine. I know I would've if I were them. There had to be something incriminating about him... and the fact that they didn't even try did bother me a little.
4. I think the twins' decision not to tell Anakin his future, and Obi-Wan's total acceptance of that, was a little OOC. Honestly, they had the opportunity to tell him and even Obi-Wan admitted that Anakin probably could've handled it.

Wow this was long! Haha. I don't want to seem picky, even though I probably do, because I really, truly did love this. And, if you do end up coming back to this someday, I think it would be awesome to have a sort-of sequel that chronicles the other Anakin and Padme's lives in the other dimension ;) I'd totally read it! :D

Oh, and I don't know if you've read this story, but your fic reminded me of Purgatory by HelenT. The plots are very different, but the Anakin of that story closely resembled the Anakin of your other dimension. And I love the idea of redemption. :) It's not a time-travel fic, but I think you'd like it. :D

This was a fantastic story! I couldn't stop reading it! You described all the characters wonderfully. Leia's changing feelings for her father and Anakin's descent into the Dark Side was all very realistic. You kept everyone in character and did a wonderful job!

That was the BEST time travel story I have ever read (even if it wasn't strictly time travel in the end). And I've read a lot of time travel stories.

That was amazing! There was in-depth character study, original plot, complex themes, and just the right amount of warm fuzzies. It had every thing one could ask for! I enjoyed reading it immensely. My only problem was that I noticed that descriptions were often re-used (Obi-Wan must have been referred to as lackluster about 7 times in the space of 3 chapters). I don't know if it was deliberate or not, but it was a tiny blip in an other-wise flawless piece. Good Job!

This is bull*. Telling everyone and their grandmother but not telling Anakin? That's obviously a recepie for disaster. Do they even remember why the hell they're keeping it secret? Either Obi-Wan or Luke would have cracked when pressed by Anakin. Honest, didn't you see the movies?

I really enjoyed this story, though I would have liked a glimpse of grown up Luke/Leia from the happier timeline. I loved the banter between Ani and Obi (especially at the end when they were trying to feel their way around each other). Thank you for a delightful read.

Ah, crud. {sniffles in memory} This was a multi-handkerchief tear-jerker in this last chapter. Well done. I'd converted the story to ebook and was reading upstairs in bed, and I wept to the point I couldn't breath well, and would have had to put the story down for recovery time if it hadn't been the final chapter. First of all, congratulations for writing such a wonderful story. I`m not really a huge fan of the Star Wars films, but have still recently discovered Star Wars fanfiction.
Your story is suspenseful, the main idea is interesting and on the whole you executed it well.
But sometimes I had problems to understand the characters. That Luke and Leia did not want to tell Anakin the truth, I could understand, even though there were points in the story when it was frustrating. However, I found it hard to comprehend, that they never tried to do something about Palpatine. IMO the logical thing to do would have been to tell Yoda or try to warn the public.
But then that would have completely changed your story and I really enjoyed it.
I especially liked the end. Anakin living and trying to deal wit his past is IMO more interesting than having him die because from a literal point of view redeeming a character by having them sacrifying themselves is often the easy way out.
That he revealed himself just felt right and of course I liked the happy end.
Also the epilogue just seemed fitting.

I read this whole thing in one day. Thats how much I liked it. I usally don't read Star Wars (more of a anime fan) but your story has really touched me (in a stupid corny kind of way). OkaY, so I stayed up way past my bed time to finish this story and now I am going to bed with red eyes from crying over this how this ended. It was well written and justified and I can't help but wonder about the other Ani and Padme and what happened in their lives when 23 years rolled around - did they ever wonder if the adult twins?
