dang the stories that you write are dark. im wating for you to finish the dark gaurdians fic but this is so far awsome. i dont know where you get this from but it is awsome. i hope that you continue writing because you would be a great author.

I cannot believe you wrote that. It was soo damn sad and depressing and dark, but it was so very good. I want to hate it, but it's just so well written.
I suppose it is very realistic with them being pirates and all, but I don't quite see how he become so bloodthirsty after finding the One Piece.

It's a story as evil as I have long since not read one here.
I must admit that I have acutally never thought about luffy going mad like this and I noticed that I love the idea, it's so different that it really attracts attention.
Of course it's well written and the lenght of each chapter is adequate.
As to the ending, why not just jump down into the water to die. The water that kills every single devil like the one he has become and is it's natural enemy. On the ship a straw hat left, hanging loosely on the head of the Merry, the place good ol' luffy tended to sit and laugh all the time (the scene fits so extraordinary in my imgination :D )

Wow, very spooky, moody and dark. Interesting characterisation, and the bitterest side of bittersweet in the pairings of all the characters.

i'm faving this! man... this is exactly what i've been looking for, CRAVING in a sense. i personally think oblivious luffy is cute and all, but there is definitly something about him that's mysterious and KNOWING, and.. just beautiful in his darkness... ok, i'll stop rambling now... thanks again for giving me such a good read^^

sry im probably like the last reweiv depending on how old this is, sad ending but i have to admit this is kind of what i thought would happen if he got th treasure... exept the hole killing shanks and some of wat he did to the crew i never dereamed of.. wow

Wow. I must admit, after all the happy, romancy fics I've have read, this is a nice change. I always thought of Luffy turning cold and heartless once becoming King, but I never found good stories on it. I feel really sorry for Nami and Usopp. And Sanji is just plain pitiful. And it seems Kuina was the only one who understood Luffy the most. >: This is deffinately a nice change in perspective though! Well done. x]

I... guess this is really the only way it could end... he is, after all, Luffy... He wouldn't want to be what he's become, any more than the others do. Less so...

And I love that it's Zoro who reminds him who he was. How could it be otherwise? He's the one who's been there from the start, the one who's ALWAYS been the most loyal, the most devoted... and it was the old, sweet, innocent Luffy he fell in love with. How could Zoro NOT remind Luffy of who he used to be...?

And the emotionless tone of the ending is just right...

I have one nitpick... your reasoning for how Luffy can shoot himself doesn't really work, I'm afraid. It would if he was a Logia, but he's not. He's a Paramecia. He doesn't TURN into rubber, he just has the properties of it, and he can't control how rubbery he is...

Maybe we could assume he shot into his ear and it went straight into his brain? That's the only way I can think of that might work.

Other than that... this story is friggin' awesome! You really know how to mess with the Straw-hats' heads, and with the readers', too. And your style on this is perfect. Great job, Takato!

I... don't know what to say. This just makes me want to go find a Nami cosplayer and throw myself at her feet and beg forgiveness for... well, you know.

But I love the way you write Zoro in this. His despair and guilt are so numbing... and that reference to the second episode makes me want to cry...

How are you so good at messing with my head? I've even had that thought before, that they're all his... (Although mostly I have it about Zoro, but it does apply to all of them.)

This scares me, Takato. It really scares me... because you write Evil Luffy so well, and... and because the worst is yet to come. Zoro's up next... and I'm almost scared to read it.
