Also, I like how you talk about the practicalities of running the clan.

Cute - though I can't recall them ever eating pigeons and rats it would make some sense. Since they were always involved in human communities, as I recall they had better tastes but it's been years since I've seen the show so maybe I'm wrong.

I like Brooklyn's rule of leaving a note when you go out - that certainly could have saved them all some headaches.

A nice story to be sure, but the end? Well it IS the writer who knows best when her/his story is at an end, but I feel this could go further.
