Dybdahl 2008-01-18 ch 16,	abuseIt's 2 am, as it for some reason usually turns into when I read your stories, and I've been doing the just one more chapter rutine for way to long. Work tomorrow is going to be a **, but I love the story. Both of them. And now I just want to curl up on the sofa and watch season 1 on DVD, and hope the price on season 3 will go down to a more...sane level sometimes soon.

I just had to share...the way your Cylons in this fic (and other stories of yours) talk about their God, they make it sound like some kind of mainframe that they're all hard-wired into. Like a mothership sending out radio signals to its satellite units. A very cool take on the Cylon monotheistic spirituality. Kinda Matrix-y. I like it! :) Oh, and the story was neat, too. ;D A very interesting study on the concept of Cylon nature vs. human nurture, and which of those influences would be more powerful. Particularly cool to do it with Gaeta (despite the fact that he's your favorite), since one would imagine that his anal-retentiveness would lend itself to throwing in with the Cylons. An excellent character study on him. Kudos! :)

I hardly ever have the patience to read chapter stories - most of them here are less than fullfilling - but this one has kept my attention. You've done an excellent job at creating suspence, a thing almost unknown in and your characterizations are extremely accurate. This story is going onto my favorites. Now I can only hope that you're another rarity on - a good author that updates regularly and frequently. Yes? Please?

Though I do hope Adama wouldn't put a bullet through his head without asking questions first. He didn't with others, so I can't imagine him doing it with someone he's worked with so closely. But that's me, wanting to think the best. Thanks for a great chapter!

I loved it when Gaeta told his "party" that he could hear them. ;P Good to see that he's not planning to murder anybody - that's still the same Gaeta we know and love, right? The analogy about the Viper crash and sensitive equipment sent a chill up my spine. Good stuff.
