Woah! I read this story a while back and I loved, loved, loved it. It has been my favourite 24 short story ever since. But then I was reading all your stories tonight and saw it again- I had no idea you had written this. It's one of the most emotionally involving vignettes I've ever read, and I've read my fair share. It's not over the top, it's just right. I can feel every moment because you so carefully choose your words. Thanks for this great story and please keep on writing!

Beautifully written. You describe all the pain and all the issues between father and daughter so well. Sometimes I really do get scared that Jack is going to finally break and do something stupid, and I agree that the only person who might be able to stop him if that ever happened, is undoubtedly Kim...
