Very nicely done. I like seeing the odd bit from a—perhaps not sentimental, but certainly not blatently evil—Goa'uld POV.

Interesting look into the other side of the mirror. So much fic is written from the human POV. The Goa'uld tend to be demonized in most fanfic, rightly so or not. It's good to read the occasional reminder that there may be more to them than meets the eye.
