Very cute fic, and about one of the few straight pairings I like. There's not enough Jin/Fuu out there, from what I've seen.

oh and in the show i didnt get who jin liked really, like in the episode when they're sharin stuff about themselves around a campfire in like the second last episode. jin was talkin sumthin and fu said mugen was a jerk then they hugged!

I liked this piece a lot. I also found Jin's reservations about seeing or touching Fuu's exposed neck especially charming. Were you aware that was historically correct? I suppose you did. Anyway, it was altogether lovely.

Yeah-heh! The Mugen-snort was fun. XD This was cute, even though it seemed a little...strange at the beginning. No particular reason for it to be, lol, but it seemed to drag a bit there. But it was cute, and well-written.

The necklace hadn't weighed hardly anything, but as he lay on his back, drifting off to sleep, he noticed its absense, and was relieved by it.

^That^ was a nice touch, too. ;-D

really wonderfully written. enjoyed it all. it was set up very well in that the emotions were communicated sufficently as were the mental images. i could see it all as i read. i really appreciate the humor you added as well, my favorite part-

"I have no use for it, myself...and I certainly wasn't going to give it to Mugen."

Just then, almost as if in acknowledgement to the mention of his name, Mugen gave a particularly loud snort, and they both chuckled. He always was good at breaking the tension, apparently even in his sleep.

"It would match his earrings," Fuu said, making Jin smile again, and this time it actually reached his eyes.
