I really like the way certain things are repeated, like how the sun and the color red is mentioned continuously, and how Byakuya and Soi Fong meet during the various stages in their lives, and the subtle comparisons between the two of them.

That was one of the best fanfics i've read. I loved the description. I loved it! Go Byakuya! Please keep writing.

Simply brilliant. Subtle but very powerful, the theme of red is great and Byakuya's character is captured so well.

Fic deserves a better summary; I hate Hisana for being the selfish cold-hearted biatch she is (abandoning your baby blood-related sole-surviving kin in Rukongai 78 is akin to pushing little old ladies out in front of oncoming trains IMHO), so passed over this fic many times thinking it was mostly ByaHisa.
