Oh my. Amazing. Simply amazing. Beautiful job capturing scary, protective, Big-Brother Spike. Poor Dawn. He's only doing what's best for you. I adored the whole "I'm not gonna look" montra. And then she does. Thank you so much for that mental picture. Gotta love Spike. It takes him about half a minute to realize what everyone saw. so funny.

That's adorable! I love Dawn's talking about (with apparent relish!) the whole ripping out of the stomach through the throat and tying it 'round his head, and Spike telling her, "You're a ghoul, pet." Spot on!

I love this story! I think I read it on AllAboutSpike a while back, and loved it the first time as well. Dawn and Spike have fabulous platonic chemistry. Great job!

Pretty good. I seem to recall a similar scene in one of the Buffy novels with Dawn and Janice sneaking out at night to go swimming like this, but your story had a better outcome!
