...I know this hasn't been updated since 2001, but I'm adding it to my story alerts on the off-chance you do someday finish it. Good Yamajou (of any kind!) is hard to find, and this one has been pretty interesting so far. And, even if you never do finish it, I'll have been glad just to be able to read these three chapters ^^

Interesting...it very nice to see other readers today enjoy this story!! I LOVE YAMAJYOU!! But its the shame there aren't much Yamajyou stories as it use to be in the past.

I guess it all thanks to the dudded version where they make Joe/Jyou more of a dork. I HATE THEM!! I watch the Original verison and there is a huge diffence between the dudded Jyou and the original Jyou.

I know this because I watch it in Korean. And I watch all others great Japanese anime in Korean, and they always stick to the original, and they only covered up Japanese language and few others things.

And he never complain anything about He was just being a worry-wart and sarcastic. He didn't sound that annoying too!!

Or perhaps most people don't think they can make a great couple. Either because of the sterotype of dork/Cool couples are uncool. So maybe people just didn't notice the couple.

But still, even this story haven't updated since 01, I still loving it!!

I'm sorry that I haven't written more on this, I know it's been a while. It's funny that you should ask about it, because I was just thinking about the story today, and wondering if there was a way to write the end of it, considering how much my writing style has changed in the last four years. (Gosh, saying that makes me feel old.) I'll work on it, though. Thanks for your interest. If nothing else, I'll try to finish it because someone out there wants to know how it's going to end.

Oh wow, I had no idea the third chapter of this was posted!! I'm not sure you remmeber you remember me or not, but it's me Crysie (ick, can't stand that nick name now, mind you!). I hope all is well for you in Germany! You're probably having the time of your life while I'm still stuck in cold Canada *cries* not that I'm complaining or anything..

Anyway, about this chapter, I loved the jealousy Matt has! I love seeing him when he is jealous! (I'm referring to the end of the chapter). Please continue this soon! ^.^

*grabs fic and snuggles it* I love the conversation between Matt and Jyou in the beginning, it was so them and it was so cute! ^-^ And I'm going to forever have this picture in my head of Jyou looking at Matt with socks in his mouth.*giggles* And poor, poor Matt! You were mean to him at the end, and it really works well. I also love how the title of the fic and even the chapter title add to the effect. Very cool chapter! I can't wait to see more! ^-^

I can't wait to read more. You captured the sudden awkwardness perfectly. Here's hoping that this doesn't cause them to drift apart...It happens, but I don't think it would make good fic material unless done right. ^_^ I particularly like the phrase "almost jarringly nonchalant" for some reason.
