That was great! A really unique take, and well written. I would think it would feel strange to see the age difference highlighted so dramatically, but it was sweet. So this was probably an influence in the future desires of Sara, both personally and professionally. I mean, way to be introduced both the concept of forensics and the image of Grissom and a good man- do you think she remembered it? or was it subconscious? Great job, all around.

Heartwrenching scenario, unfortunately all too real in our world. What a wonderful new perspective on young adult Gil Grissom - socially inept, withdrawn, but willing to put himself on the line to protect a child. Good for him!
