... didn't orihime create her powers by herself from the spirit energy that ichigo leaked out? masaki's soul was eaten by a hollow, so technically, she can't become a soul that goes to soul society, and she can't become a hollow either. she just... isn't existant anymore after that.

neway, the story was great dispite the fact that it wasn't very canon, but it had awesome detail and the ending made me want to cry and be happy at the same time.

Oh... that's a neat twist on the origin of the Shunshun rikka!
