This is a really sweet story. It's quite different from your other stuff, and I'm enjoying it very much. I was rather confused as to why Quistis was mad at Nikola (the hero thing), but was able to sort it out. Do please continue writing on this one. I would be quite interested to discover how things develop.

This is so sweet and incredibly well-written... and, to reassure you about the POV, it was perfectly clear who was speaking at each switch, just from the references you gave to what angle their perceptions were coming from.
