You have a very special way of bringing characters to life so you never fail to get me hooked on your stories.
The interaction of the different characters and their humorous banter is definitely delightful and creates such a wonderful atmosphere.

"Your" Lothíriel here is one of my favorite Lothíriels ever. I cannot really put the finger on why I love her so but she is perfect this way.

Oh. What delightful characterisations. I'm delighted in the way you reveal each character's personality and how you keep them consistent and seemless with cannon. I also like how the new original characters bring humour into the story.

Gimli is hilarious - he only speaks with a view to consuming more spirits. Legolas seems refreshingly unpractical and given to dayderaming, but it might be too soon to judge how you portray him. The cheery and truthful Pip moment in this chapter is really entertaining.

My favourite part is undeniably the wordplay between Gandalf and Amrothos.

"It is certainly certain," commented Gandalf. "I have always been certain and they are now certain. There is nothing else to be said about it."

"It's certain then," Amrothos muttered under his breath.

"Of course," Gandalf carried on,
