I enjoyed it. Her reaction is perfect! Though now I'm curious as to how anyone could really justify Nooj and Rikku. >.>;

I think it started off too abruptly, first of all. Also, there was so much left open--*why* was he having an affair with Rikku? Because he felt something for her? Simply because she's attractive and dresses in skimpy bikini's? Were Paine and Nooj only sleeping together or is it something more? I found those empty spaces irritating, but with that said...

The dialogue was amusing, and the interaction believable. I don't see Paine or Nooj as being very (openly, maybe) possessive. (By the way, what's wrong with LeBlanc, huh? I happen to think she's awesome! ;P )

Overall, it was well-written, but it just personally didn't leave me..."satisfied". It seemed like it was written for the sole reason of having a Paine/Nooj fic, or something, what with all the holes...

A pleasant little folly. While I find the pairing unlikely to the point of rejection, you have managed to pull it off well, keeping both Nooj and Paine thoroughly in character.

Just, I beg of you, do not do this again. It helps perpetuate a canard which should be stopped before it spreads further. He has much better taste in women.
