Darlin 2006-08-09 ch 6,	abuseA last stand, eh? Well, what can I say? Another superb chapter of course but for some reason this chapter really got to me. It was wonderful to see into these characters looking deep into their souls and with your thorough research and knowledge of X-Men history it enriched this chapter even more. I loved everyone's interactions most especially Emma and Logan's but more than that the feel of team work of what true X-Men are all about really, really touched me. Reading your stories are not only a delight but so fulfilling. Well done, well done, well done!

Darlin 2006-07-15 ch 5,	abuseWell, if I hadn't read the last chapter with all your delightful hints to go read it I surely would've only this chapter started out so intense how could anyone stop here and go back? You write to well! All your characters are just as they should be, true to cannon and very realistic with humor and guilt, grief, determination and honor. In fact, you made me see Longshot and Magneto in a way I hadn't quite thought of before and yet see now how insightful you truly are - Longshot's innocence mixed with irresponsibility, Maggy not being in control of himself. I enjoyed Magneto's humor, continue to be intrigued by this Slayer creature (that's quite an understatement) and love your knowledge of the X-Men. I wonder why Marvel can't remember the history of a franchise that's performed so well for them. I mean who really remember's Zsaji? And here the Five in One are fascinating with personality and purpose not the boring undeveloped siblings Marvel threw at us and abandoned for the most part. One final comment - Betts and Logan?
Darlin 2006-07-15 ch 4,	abuseCeleste not knowing how to drive was amusing. I never cease to be amazed by your tremendous skills! The Slayer is so ingenious, who and what he is I'm dying to know and how he came to be, it's just so spellbinding. A very compelling chapter here. The fastball special sans adamantium bones, cool quips "I got your master race right here", a righteous Piotr, devoted love, betrayal to that love and one's self! Woot, as American's like to say. Make that a double woot! The calvary arriving in the nick of time!?! Excellent as usual!

I especially loved good ole captain america commenting about how he doesnt scowl when he says betsy either! Good stuff...excellent mix of humor/action/angst. And same comments apply that I left in my other review!

I want to throttle irresponsible (but oh so lovable) Nocturne, but that is probably true to character, I don't know her well. And you write an excellent Nightcrawler.
