I read this from a recommendation from Livejournal and I just wanted to tell you that I thought it was wonderful. I love the cute factor and I could totally see Rupert talking to his daughter this way. (He would so give her a cute nickname.) I also so loved his jibes at Buffy's previous men. It was fun and honestly, I can really see him feeling that way.

This was a unique way to tell the story of how they got together and lived happily ever after. I would have never thought of using this approach, but it's different and well executed and you did a great job. (And as a side note I liked the idea of the Potential who was turned as she became a Slayer. Very interesting concept. I'd like to see you maybe write that story.)

Anywhom, this is my rambling way of saying that I really enjoyed this and I'm glad you shared it here.

Oh, this was so, so sweet. It had me smiling so hard that I actually ended up with tears in my eyes. Your Daddy!Giles voice was utter perfection, and I loved how we could tell that Bug very much had Buffy's spirit and an innocently mischievous way of teasing Giles. Loved this!

That has got to be one of the most adorable stories I have ever read! I loved it. And your use of point of view, and the particular voice a father would use with a chattering little girl was perfect. I love it. You're a genius. Thank you.

aw! thats the sweetest thing. It was a brilliant way of writing it, a one sided conversation, it was hard to follow at first but the personal touch made it so much better. great stuff!

That's just unbelievably adorable. I'm not a fan of the Buffy/Giles ship (I prefer a daughter/father relationship between those two, and not the incestuous kind) but still...this was just so cute. And since it focused more on Giles and "Ladybug" then Giles/Buffy, well, my ship preferences didn't really get in the way. So yay.

i like it, it's funny, and really sweet. but two questions remain burning: is bug the girl's real name, and what is the mysterious and mischeivous brother called?
