Hm. Lovely. I loved the film and have spent time wondering and creating in my head what could have happened after the film ended. I love this piece you have done and can visualize it, hear Kevin ( Gerry Butler dreamy sigh ensues) and his Scottish brogue, smell the salt air and perhaps imagine that I am the one in his arms, the first person pov certainly was great.

This was beautifully written; you picture every part of it,even smell the ocean.

I think this would have made a much better ending for the film than the one we were given; although the film ended on a note of hope it didn't really have the warmth the rest of the film had had.

This would have been the icing on the cake; well done for writing such an excellent piece. I look forward to reading more of your work.

I am such a HUGE fan of this movie! Your story is every bit as melancholy and heartfelt as what I saw on the big screen.

It was a little bit confusing for me with the switch to Lizzie's point of view mid-story; but the dialogue had the same minimalist feel as the movie. Your descriptions are very detailed and it gives the story more drama.

The only thing that was a little confusing was the switching from third to first person (Lizzie's point of view)in the middle.
