Thank you for this truly wonderful piece of writing. I couldn't glue myself off my monitor till 4 AM, when the sleep finally overtook me. And in the morning the first thing I did was jumping back to my computer to read the remaining chapters. This story made me laugh out loud, yell at the monitor in frustration, cry and turn away in horror being not able to read on. But I still finished it, and I can say that was one of the most gripping, most well-written, most attentive to details and most true to the original character and atmosphere pieces of fanfiction I've ever read. And I have read many.

I am speechless. Wait, no I'm not!
If manglobe ever made a sequel to Samurai Champloo, this is what I would want it to be. You took the characters and added a whole other dimension to them that the anime never had. I also loved how you tied up so many loose ends like Yatsuha and Bundai. It gave a sense of satisfaction and closure, because the series (I felt) ended so abruptly. This is the first time I've ever read a fanfiction that was this long to the end, and you managed to keep my attention through the whole thing. You made me laugh out loud in some places, and moved me to tears in others. I cannot properly express how much I loved reading this story, except maybe that one of the reasons I signed up here was to comment on this story.
Very, very well done. Please continue writing these gems!

I haven't read a Samurai champloo fanfic in a long time, but I'm so very glad I read this one. It was lovely. I absolutely loved it. Your descriptions of scenes were wonderful and the way you brought the characters to life was magnificant. It was like watching everything happen before my eyes, and it's been such a long while since I've been able to properly lose myself in a story like I did this one.

There was enough intrigue everywhere to keep me on the edge of my seat, humour interspersed at the best of places; and the character intereaction was amazing. One minute I'm rooting for Jin (who I happen to like paired with Fuu, if I'm going to be absolutely honest) and the next I'm sympathising with Mugen. You make them so real, so understandable, it was truly a wonderful experience. And the history play behind it all; I'm not very big on Asian history just yet, but I'm sure this will help make my East Asian civilization course come alive for me in a way a mere textbook couldn't. I am truly impressed. On top of everything, you grammar was sound.

You have truly earned my respect. Keep writing, and may you have the best of luck with future works.

u have NO idea how happy I am that you had JIN and FUU together, which is unbelievable since I really couldn't imagine them together and am a hardcore Mugen x Fuu fan...but I was reading this fic and saying "if she DARES let FUU end up with MUGEN!" lololol. Aww... that was... really really sweet.

I'll admit that I prefer MugenxFuu. And to be completely honest, when I first clicked on this story I thought it was going to be MugenxFuuxJin (as in, threesome) which I adore. By the time I figured out it WASN'T going to be that, that she was going to have to choose and that the one she was going to choose would be Jin, I was way too caught up in the story to care.

This was a really awesome story. ... And I wasted an entire Sunday afternoon reading it when I really should have been cleaning up the house or doing homework or anything but wasting my time reading an awesome fic on the computer... but oh well.

That was an awesome story and ending. I'm glad how things turned out. Watching the should I always liked FuuJin, but after seeing Yatsuha I had hope she get with Mugen. Good job. ^-^

I always did like Yatsuha, not many women can give Mugen on his toes. Still, makes me wonder just what she's up to this time. >.

Okay, Although I like JinFuu in the show, I have to say that most fanfics make interesting MugenFuu scenes. In fanfiction, that pairing is much more fun and interesting to read. ^-^

She seems a little more on edge then usual. I hope nothing actually did happen at the brothal. Anyway, I'm even more interested to see Jin interested in her as well. While I often think a FuuMugen pairing is funny and cute at the same time, I always pictured her with Jin. Mugen would go with the cop. I wonder who she'll choose. Though I like Mugen, I hope it is Jin... Hoepfully it's not both. Those stories are just weird...

This story is getting interesting. I was wondering if the romantic interest would be between Fuu and Mugen or Jin. Seems Mugen has an interest in her. He knew that she wasn't with Jin and yet he asked her questions about him. Seems he likes her more then he's letting on. Jealous much? ^-^

This was by far the best Samurai Champloo fanfic i have read.
