Loved your story. Definitely tears forming. I think you've got Kaylee right, I can so see her looking after Wash's dinosaurs and worrying about Serenity and everybody else no matter how hurt she was.

Oh my gosh,I cried. That made me cry. I have never read a fanfic that made me cry. For a short fic, that was powerful.
Don't know if you plan too but maybe you can keep this going? Would like to read more about this.
