Seriously. Like. Just. Wow. Amazing. My one critique would be of an overabundance of sap... but even still, I don't think it entirely out of character. And the rest of the everything is wonderfully in character. I love the way the conversations flow, you captured the voices amazingly. Just... yea. bows in homage

Tea_at_Four 2008-03-26 ch 5, anon.	abuseMy goodness, that was THE most intense fic I've ever read, and I've made it through some heavy writing over the years. Your use of language was superb, by which I mean the words flowed in so evocative a manner that I had to actively remember I was reading a fanfic on the computer screen; I was completely captivated by the sequence of events! Each character was distinct, and clicked so well into the canon forms, that the story rolled like a movie sequel across my imagination. The best fics for me are those that move beyond a parroting of favorite characters, and become a mirror of the human condition in the same engaging and genuine manner as the canon, and this tale of ugly choices made, and the humans living in the aftermath, fits that criteria to a 'T'. I'm still pondering on the 'too much River speaking in third person' discussion, but the explanations offered in this fic were well illustrated and made sense of a great deal of River's dissociative behavior...as did River's thoughts on her steps closer to wholeness. Thanks for a great story!

Great work! You're Jayne reminds me a bit of my Riddick in my Riddick/River story. Oh well, have a great day/night.

But looking at your other reviews, it seems we all have the same feelings towards this fanfic. I read this last night before bed, and lets just say I couldn't go to sleep (and not because of the steamy scenes in the later chapters). Chapter 1 (and the rest really) would be an awesome episode if Firefly was ever to hit cable, i.e. Showtime or HBO. I have a feeling this fic will stick with me for quite a while. Outstanding job writing it! Gads I need to see if you have written anything else on

GemGirl 2008-01-12 ch 15, anon.	abuseOMG! That was so darn beautiful. Love It Love It Love It. Totally. The whole fic, although I do miss Wash's presence. It's kinda SO obvious he's not there. Well, I know he's like gone...but in the fanfic world, I'd wish there'd be exceptions. He would have made some funny Wash-like comments. Although the whole baby Wash thing made it slightly better. :D But apart from that, the story itself was amazing. Well, there was that whole third person thing but it didn't completely distract me. Yup, Couldn't stop reading. My parent was starting to get annoyed at my eyes being all stuck like, to the screen. :p I thought Mal was so hilarious at the bar with Jayne and River. L Yea, you done good on this. Anyway, I'm gonna go off and watch the movie. :D I shall be back to read this one day, some day. Pce. P.S. Didn't you just wanna shoot the w*? :P
