Good story! Good job on the coincidences! If the Golden Pair had been in the same school, why didn't they have seen and met each other earlier? Even if Kikumaru was home-schooled during high school, wouldn't Oishi have found out since he was at the same school. Besides, wouldn't they have called each other? Still, I'm glad they're back together.

The part about Kikumaru's parents being controlling and not letting him hang out reminds me of my pre-college life. My parents usually didn't let me go to friends' houses or go out with friends. I'm glad I wasn't home-schooled. For the Golden Pair, I thought it would be the opposite: Oishi with the strict parents, and Kikumaru with more lenient ones. Well, we all have our interpretations.

I like the idea of Oishi in medical school as what most people write about. I think it fits him. I have some trouble imagining his doubles partner in medical school, but I think it's possible. I'm glad you didn't write Kikumaru as stupid or irresponsible the way many people do.

I can relate to the bringing books everywhere. Whenever a school term starts, I drag my books and notes everywhere.
