Please don't keep this as a One-Shot as you have been very clever and left an opening for a second chapter or a sequel.
It would be interesting to see if Ron believes that Hermione is indeed carrying his child.
You could maybe have him take Hermione to St Mungo's to make sure that she really is pregnant with his child and not Harry's or maybe have him discover that it was all a ruse to get him out of hiding and give Harry and Hermione a chance to really explain what really happened.
But knowing Ron's temper that won't be easy.

But nevertheless this is your story and I really enjoy reading your work.
