Reading this in one go was pretty tough, but it was worth it. Now I'm interested in reading the original Dracula.

I loved how you kept the sad tone throughout the story.

Gotta say I was really impressed. You did an excellent job and a lot of planning and research has obviously gone into this. You have a nice writing style too which flowed well and I didn't find myself having to skip parts because I was getting bored or you weren't getting to the point. Anyway, well done on all counts.

I loved the moment between Lefty and D. It was so heartwrenching to watch D mourn the loss of his trusty sidekick. Only to realize that his trusty sidekick was ** with him. D and Lefty are the perfect Duo.

By the way, your fight with Dracula was spectacular. You looked into the very inner workings of Dracula's heart. Excellent.

By the way, you referred to "the Van Helsing people". Have you ever read Hellsing.

One last thing, very good exit of Dracula, just like with Van Helsing. Down but not out.

You used this chapter to show the begining of a fight that looks like it will certainly be interesting. I applaud the way you set it up, and look forwards to the next chapter.

Well, its been a while since ive seen, or read your story here.
This chapter was a little bit of a detailed idea of how life would accept him back.IT didnt look like it would.
The idea of the promusicuious sisters works well... yet the idea of them makeing D a man... is fairly disturbing. But I guess that it works well in the image you have out so far of them. I will be surprised if Hess gets out of this alive, he was a good character, very human, and typical ... man. I like the chapter, and still the ideas and the writing style works well to bring the story to a piece of FanFiction glory.

That was a beautiful perfect story. I too have long wondered about D's upbringing, and I think you did a wonderful job filling in the blanks. I also really liked the way you managed to get the snyde remarks of Left Hand and their relationship:) But I do feel sorry for D though, I mean even the most evil and desolute creatures need some lovin'!!
You should really keep writing! Hoe does D manage through the 21st century??!!

It's the best Hunter D story I ever read in a lot of diffrent vieuws. (is that even a good sentence?)
And you know... I really see this as a portrait.

And really... how could they change 'Dhampir' into 'Dunpeal'!?

I never read the D books cause I don't know where to get them ... manga store? ebay? dunno ... But I'll read them someday!

I also liked the deleted scenes, and though they are cool, and if I were you I'd put the Aldrich-parts in the story, I think that it's good that you've left them out ...

AMAZING end! I love everything you incorporated to this story- it really added to it. While I'm sad to see the ending- it was much anticipated. Keep on writing! And I LOVE that you added 'deleted scenes'.
