I last read this story about a year or so ago (forgive me for not remembering the exact date), but the last part I read was when Shikamaru was attacked by a giant dog, and Kiba managed to intervene. I wanted to review then, but I didn't have an FFnet account so I couldn't. Then when I wanted to read it again when I had the time, I couldn't find the story anymore. I just assumed you removed it from the net.

However, on a whim I just decided to look for it again and I cannot express just how happy I am to find it back online. I love this story. I think the way you portray Shikamaru is unique yet still highly in character, and I similarly like your depiction of Kiba. I also like the whimsical elements on the side, like Naruto and Sasuke's tension, which adds flavor to the main storyline.

I have yet to read the chapters after I left off, but the way you develop the plot has always intrigued me. The fight between Shikamaru and Shino was superb and totally in character.

I am very glad that I can now leave reviews for this story.

DAMNIT! I absolutely love this story! And you play each of the characters out so perfectly! Honestly! I feel so inspired by you and this story! I so hope you update soon! I can't wait! I'm officially pwned by this story! I've been sitting here reading it for the past three days and it is excellent! The chapters are captivating even with no romance or action on one, and as much as I want to slap Shikamaru so he can just admit he loves the damn Inu, I can't but help feel the build up to it. I also like the Next Time stuff on the bottom. It's very wise. -Nods.- Please update soon.

The only thing I'm slightly upset about is the lack of Kakashi or Iruka. I mean, this story is centered around Shikamaru and his thoughts of course and I don't expect him to go seek them out or anything, but I would love to see who you set them up in their future selves. -Nods.- I expect Kakashi has to be in his thirties now. (Too Lazy to do the math.)

Wow, this is great, I really love it. The emotions are really raw and you stay true to Shikamaru's character! Kiba is by far my favorite in this! I personally don't like Tamari, but she seems neccesary so I guess I can't complain. Keep up the good work!
