It's a good concept, but I can't help but think that you didn't really capture Selendrile's voice. I mean, you've written it so casually, so... thoughtlessly, almost, giving him typical human emotions, whereas he's shown throughout the book to be much more... refined? I'm not sure if that's the word I'm looking for, but it works.

Yes please. Vivian Vande Velde is the BEST fantasy suspense writer EVER! I would write fanfiction about this but it would be crap and I'd just embarrass myself so I won't. LOL. BUT other people can, so do write another story. PLEASE!
