Never have I read such a thoroughly in-character Hitsugaya fic. I look forward to reading more of it, should there be additional chapters.

My gosh you've got ahold of the characters. All of them. It's quite a talent to be able to write/portray so many different characters in ways that truely fit. It's hard to find an author that can write the enigmatic type - and Hitsugaya definitely has that going on. But you've studied and understood his character and reflected it in your writing so well. Establishing early on that he worked hard to overcome prejudices - but also for himself - gives him a such a human air. Speaking of, I'm glad you've brought out so many different parts of his personality. There's his constant studiousness, his sheer determination, that attachment to Hinamori, and that easily provoked side where Matsumoto's concerned. Your Hitsugaya is very multi-faceted, and as a result, a complete pleasure to read. There's a lot of character exploration, which is my favourite kind of reading material. But you've also constructed events in a believable way that shape Hitsugaya and give this story a good sense of flow. Events come and go, but Hitsugaya's always there. I hope you'll continue on with this!

Wow. This is absolutely amazing. Already. Your style is poetic, but not overly wordy. You write in a very precise way, like the words you pick fit perfectly. This might not seem like a feat to you, but it is to me, since I (also a "writer", hah) so often have difficulty finding the right word. And you can actually write action! Dear god that is rare to find.

Your Hitsugaya is the best I've read so far. The way you've written him - you've given him a reason to be "cool, unapologetic, honest as a reflection in ice". Already, you've established his character. It's got me eager to read more. So, I think I'll leave more reviewing for later.

This story is so amazing! It really did leave me breathless and unable to do anything but read. I enjoyed how you kept it very general and strayed away from the romance aspect many would be tempted to throw in. You did a good job of characterizing Hitsugaya and his longing for old friend ships while trying to break free and do his own things. I have favored this story and already know that I will be coming back in the future to re-read it.

Awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome! This is by far one of the best stories I have ever read! It was detailed, but not boring. It was funny, serious, and beautifully written. I loved it so much! I'm going to read Facets as soon as I can, but I have one question about this story before I go. Is it completed? If it is, shouldn't you change the status? However, it doesn't seem like it's complete, so...

Hitsugaya and Matsumoto are such an odd team, yet in a strange way they work well together _ love this chapter!

I actually read this a while ago, but I've been too lazy to comment. XD I have to say that when it comes to getting inside the mind of a character, I've yet to find anyone who does it better than you.
