This is my new favorite pairing (yeah, I'm a little behind the times) and I really enjoyed this story. As a whole piece, it has a completeness that is very satisfying, and the last line of the second chapter was indeed hilarious.

I still haven't stopped wondering why nobody seems to write Roy/Winry. It may not be the easiest thing in the world, but there's so much delicious angst and ready-made drama that it seems like quite a fan fictional treasure trove to me! Maybe it just seems too easy to write it badly? I think Roy/Winry written badly could be very... bad. But still... I don't know. I guess I'll never understand it.

I loved the way you wrote both Roy and Winry, and how you left the story open-ended enough to allow them at least the possibility of happiness. Very cathartic, and also very nicely written.

Aw, this was sad and hapy/made me want to cry and jump for joy all at the same time. Nice work ^-^

This is really lovely! The very first fanfic I ever thought about was "What if Roy and Winry...?" I've always thought this was a relationship that should be explored, being vastly more complex than other relationships in this series. Well done! Love the angst, and the fulfillment.

This fic was great. I fully agree on what you said pertaining to the other couples such as Sess/Rin and Kaka/Saku. Roy and Winry need more lovin'.

Whoa hello! I LOVELOVELOVE the RoyXWinry pairing a lot! Woo hoo go you! At least someone agrees with me that they make a GREAT couple! I mean he killed her parents because he was ordered too but yet she can't help but fall in love with him? It's a perfect love story I tell ya! PERFECT!

I think you just turned me into a RoyxWinry fan. I read the uncensored version, and now I think I'm in love with that pairing. The last line was priceless.

I never really thought about how Winry's life isn't all that equivalent. She did lose a lot of people that were important to her, so she definitely needs something really good to happen in return. Yay for the Roy being what she needs!!

wow, its getting hot in her (and it really was getting hot while i was reading this chapter in the college library). Girl it had been so long since i read a good Roy/Win story. I love the way you wrote each characters feelings (love, fear, sadness, happiness) you really manage really well without mixing them.
