It's kind of cool to see Gandalf make a little "magic" with his long, hard "staff". As weird as this fic is, it's pretty intense. Nice.

My *god* that was sexy. And very well written, dialogue et al right in character and proper Middle Earth style. This is rapidly becoming a favourite pairing of mine, and all because of your wonderful talent. ;)

I have conflict over this pairing. On the one hand, the movie sort of bashed me over the head with it repeatedly and it was *cute*. On the other hand, hobbit/non-hobbit kind of squicks me. So, I read your stories with an open mind, and I think you did a good job of making it believable and it didn't squick me too much. So...I think I liked it. But I'm still a leetle bothered that I did. ;)

some lovely touches of humour - especially the cooking oil! i dunno though, *gandalf*? he's kinda old, and a beardo as well... sorry, i have this thing about old people. and beards! still, you managed to make me suspend my disbelief, which is impressive. on to the review page now, to see if there are any flamers to be ** off about...

Strangely distrubing (Gandalf...*cringe*), and yet it was good. Really well written!
