Yeah, I wanted a little more at the end of that episode, too. This was very satisfying. Loved the tiger reference.

really sweet and touching, the dialogue between the two was very good and believable, i think you portrayed Dean's anger/grief/guilt perfectly, loved it.

It's true, we don't know much about Dean besides he love's Sam, chicks, his car and classic music. Good oneshot, I loved it.

I like your writting style, I also like that you used some series logic to decide what animal should be Dean's favorite. Much more believeable that just plucking it out of thin air.

As allways you seem to capture Sam and Dean perfectley and I seem to be getting obsessed with your extended scenes! =) So please continue with your writing and beatifull work! =)

I loved this story and the imagery that was displayed in this. It was so sad and I loved reading what Dean's real feelings were.
“I follow him because I feel like I owe him!” And again, Dean stepped forward and pushed Sam back again, but Sam just held his ground. “I owe him because if it wasn’t for him, you’d be dead!”"That shtriga didn’t almost kill you. I did…” Dean finally said, and a solitary tear slid down his cheek.

These lines were touching! I loved reading that Dean followed John's orders because he didn't want to disobey and have something like that happen again to Sam, but also the angle you took; that Dean did it because he felt that he OWED him for Sammy.

Great job and can't wait for more from you!

Oh my god, rivulets of tears! I so loved it and all I could think of was how I wished that dialogue had happened. The story was just awesome! Some lines just were knee-buckling good like:

“One thing I’ll never question…is that Dad always left me with you when he went away for a reason.”

“What’s that?”

“He knows you’d do anything in your power, anything in your control, to protect me. We all make mistakes. And Dad’s a prime example of someone who has made plenty of mistakes—if not in hunting, then in other things. My point is that…I don’t believe for a moment that he hated you for what happened, or that he was angry. I think he was just scared…and we all get scared. No matter who we are, no matter how old we are.”

So true and so Dean! He's completely devoted to making sure Sam is safe.

Another favorite is:
“He’s not the one who has saved me time after time, day after day. It’s always been you. And it’s always been you because Dad’s the one who throws us into these situations, by ourselves, instead of sticking with us. He expected way too much from you then, and expects even more out of you now,” Sam explained, his own anger heating up the air around them."

Just a wonderful, emotion-packed story! Thanks for sharing it! Oh, and I have to say, I LOVE the hug!

Excellent story. I can definitley see Dean lashing out to try to get Sam to make him hurt its what he feels like he deserves and it kills me every time he thinks hes less than what he is.

Had to laugh at the "polkadot" reply from Dean... My favorite line: "There was sadly little either one could do to patch up the other brother completely, but they were each other's greatest band-aid". How true!~ :)
This was the perfect wrap-up to that episode... Great job!
