abuseWhat a good oneshot with a lot of 'issues' in it and I think you really captured Mrs Black's nature.

abuseI love it and I think it's a great and original story. You're the only one who write a story in which Mrs Black isn't involved as a mother who hate her sons, prefer more the powers a mother like Bellatrix...I love it! I love how she reacted against Voldemort("this Half Muggle"!)who "dare" take away one of her child.
It's good to see her as a loving mother ^-^! I love

abuseTo begin with, I like the title which has a sort of dual meaning. The character of Mrs.Black is extremely well portrayed- she is one of those typical proud aristocratic character so common in English literature(a darker version of Lady Catherine, if you read Austen) or rather in all literature as well as in the real muggle world, yet you make her a real person with her own real(to her) reasons and justifications, her feelings, her sense of superiority instead of reducing her simply to a type character. The relationship between Kreacher and his mistress is well depicted. The twist at the end is well- depicted. This is a good short story quite apart from being a good fanfiction. I am going to read your other stories as soon as my summer holidays begin.

you set a very hard criteria for reviews and stories in general but you're right.
Nice one shot, could use a little more flow but other than that good concept, encouraging me to read the next one.
Good luck.

abuseThat was amazing! I love the way you blended the flashbacks of the boys' childhood with Mrs. Black's current thoughts. I also liked the way you made Mr. Black such a big part of their lives. A lot of authors seem to forget there must have been a Mr. Black, and I really like the way you have the portrait of him that Mrs. Black is always refering to.
