Ooh! Very angsty! I like how the reader doesn't really know if Gibbs is alive or dead until almost the end (and even then, I wondered whether Tony was hallucinating Ziva and Tim or not!). I liked the little tidbits about Tony's childhood (acting out Arsenic and Old Lace! Too cute!). The ending was rather abrupt, though. Write more?!?!?

Really good story. Did you know that learnt is actually not a word. My A.P. Language teacher went off when I wrote it in an essay once. Which is strange, because where I come from it is common to say. Anyway I really enjoyed your work. Keep on keepin on.

Just trolling through your back catalog and remembering just how MANY of your stories are favorites of mine - this one especially. No matter how many times I read it it still chokes me up. Poor Tony, alone no matter how many people are around.

The beauty in this story is that it feels SO canon, so very much in character. The endings of both "Missing" and "Chained" left me wanting to smack Gibbs - it does seem like he just CAN'T bring himself to give Tony validation when anyone can hear it. And Tony could throw himself on a grenade for Ziva and she would probably just say "Well that's what you're supposed to do.."

Any how, just realised I hadn't actually left a review telling you how much I liked this one so I thought I oughta...

This was great; at first I thought he was talking to Gibbs and Gibbs was just being an asshole, and then I was terrified Gibbs was dead and Tony was going to break down, and then when McGee was explaining to him that everything would be find and I kind of deflated in relief. I loved it! ^^

Talk about a cliffhanger! I loved this chapter; it had me on the edge of my seat and wondering what on earth had happened that they were in this situation.

Omg! Is this really a deathfic? :( I don't like those, too sad...but I have to keep reading anyway because it's too good! Just so you know (as a writer, I know I'd like to know) the point where I figured out Gibbs wasn't conscious was the line, "I must be starting to lose it, Boss." I went OMG and scrolled back up and reread it. Totally great way to write it!

No matter how many times I read this, I get choked up and going *poor Tony*. You really can tug, twist, and pull on the emotions.

I loved Tony's mind playing tricks on him, but I felt you ended it too soon. Would have liked to see Tony resolving some of his issues or at least addressing them.

Very confusing at the beginning but GREAT! Love it!
