I liked it. Ik found myself *not* skipping bits of story, which to me means it's well-written. I like the way you build up tension, and how you make an everyday event turn out-of-the-ordinary.

wow, I really like this! Usually I don't like it when people write 300+ words over very little action, but stuff happened here - food got cooked, dishes got washed - so it didn't feel like babbling. Felt like people becoming more comfortable with each other in a domestic setting, which is an adorable thing to see for V and Evey :)

Also, I like Evey's looking at "the line of his shoulders" and considering why he jokes and such. Very good call! I mean, what else are you gonna look at when the other guy's in a mask, right?
