I just love Bridge stories. He's just so fun to mentally torture. Joanne did the right thing reporting him to Kat, his parents were criminally negligent in ignoring his condition. Who knows what would've happened if she hadn't reported him?

You did a fairly good job with the fight scenes in chapter 5. As a reader, I personally just need a sense of the battle. I don't need the whole thing. Both chapters were well done. I am waiting patiently for the next one.
