Wow. I don't think I've ever liked a "making a band" fic in my life. That is until now! This story is just too good! I Think the first song at the beginning totally set the mood for this fic. And I must say, what excellent choice in music you have! I've noticed that you haven't updated soon, and I get we're all caught up in life. But I hope you'll find some time to update this fic. I love the way you wrote this! =)

Loved loved loved the animosity between Gaara and Sasuke and Naruto as mediator. Hilarious. This chapter was one of the best moments in the fic.

Hm, honestly, I think that some things in this story line are a little cliche, such as the alcohol use and the one boy being a virgin and the other having a dark past of meaningless lovers...BUT (and a big but) you write so well that you've managed to completely captivate me. I can't believe I've been so pulled into this story. I wish you didn't make Naruto so effeminate; however, I'm still enjoying their interaction AND I love how when they're alone together, Naruto has a real fire to him that feels more like his "real" personality. I can't help but wonder what will happen once he gains confidence.

I really love your writing style. You're a genius of description. I must say I'm impressed by it and your ability to make me enjoy something I normally wouldn't, both in setting and character. Great job.

Wow, your descriptive prowess is utterly gorgeous. I love the way you've described the music, and that final paragraph was a work of art.

CRIT: If this was about OC's I might like it more. The boys are, well, OOC. Naruto as an effeminate push-over? Sasuke following Naruto on the first day? Where's the rivalry? Where's Naruto's lovable asinine attitude? I like the story and you're an excellent writer, but I don't really think the characterizations fit the guys even in an AU.

With all that said, I still think your writing is very mature and well composed, and the plot sounds better than the typical band/high school fic. I'll keep reading to see what comes of it!

Oh I absolutely love this story to pieces (now if only you would update T__T). Honestly, there is so much raw intensity and biting literary prowess that I don't even know where to begin my review! Lol.

This is one of those amazing stories that molds itself and builds exponentially upon the lyrics interspersed throughout at just the right times. Everything becomes a wonderful balance of story telling and poetry ^^ It's just a joy to read! There are so many memorable lines that were I to quote them all, I'm afraid I'd far exceed the character limit for these reviews XD Though there is one quote that I loved from the 2nd chapter that truly had me hooked:

"He would have cried in front of Sasuke if only all of his tears hadn’t gone to his voice, dripping over the notes, salting over the words."

You have this talent for fusing each character with their individual quirks and personalities that the reader can't help but love them all. And of course, who could resist Naruto's sweetly persistent stubbornness?

Wow. That was... you had me from the first scene. ANYTHING that starts with my favorite Bob Dylan song deserves a good read. You weave together the lyrics and the story so well- and it's quality music, not the MCR bullshit half the people who write SasuNaru listen to. I went and downloaded a ton of Elliott Smith, and I've discovered a love for it, thanks to this. Really, really... an amazing piece of writing.
