Wow, what an intense chapter! Tasuki's suffering is so vividly drawn that you made me ache for him. I hate to think of what that creature did, maybe even more inside his head than the abuse of his body.

Very nicely done. Great pacing, with a steady build-up of tension, and a real sense of panic at the end. Your grammar and description is flawless, and I love the thought you've put behind explaining the connection between Miaka and Taka and Tasuki.

I alos love Hikari's inherited love of counting money, and the fact that it's given her an edge over other children of her age. Funny, touching, and believable.
