This was a very good story. I liked the fact that Ash and Misty were older than they seem on the cartoon. I always wondered what would have happened when they got older. I guess you answered that question for me.

I personally enjoy reading one-shots. there should be a lot more of them. not that saga or chapter stories are any less interesting or better, but theres something about the short story that appeals to the laziness. the real trick is putting the same depth and literary themes in a short story that would ordinarily be in a multi chaptered story.
