| Essyllus 2006-04-24 ch 1, | abuseHey, because I am butt-lazy I will review for "Watching Love" and "It's All Your Fault". "Watching Love": This is really... drabbly. I don't mean it in the way that it's short, but rather in the way that its focus shifts from one thing to another. First, Gaara sees "family love" in Sasuke & Naruto, Ino & Sakura, and Lee & Gai. I like Gaara's observations in how he isn't loved. Then, he's starting to see the romantic, erotic love as displayed by Hinata, Shikamaru, Neji, Iruka, etc. So were you trying to go for this effect? If you were, it was done pretty well, except that the last few one-liners rushes the ending. The conclusion isn't rounded off, because it doesn't really complete the full circle of what is love, as opposed to just romantic love. If you referred back to "family love" and how it feels to be loved, and the relations Gaara's never had, the ending would have been less awkward and forced. Other than that, it was really great to read! The part where Iruka looks at Anko reminds me of a great Iruka/Anko fic. I think you have read it, (Love and Marriage) since the author is on your favorites list. Anyways, that just reminded me of that. "It's All Your Fault"- Geez, you couldn't have chosen a more generic title, could you? Anyways, I'm confused as to why you defined cutting as a suicide attempt. Personally, I've never cut, but it's not actually ending your life, so what is the misconception with that? I know I can't say how it feels to cut, but I have friends who do (did), and they weren't attempting suicide. The story is really sad, and you know what would be MORE sad and morbid? If Neji did push Lee on purpose. Heck, that's what I would have done if I thought of it... Anyways, keep up the good work! Just keep writing and you will definitely get better and better. Believe it! [Oh gosh. A Naruto pun. XD ] |
| ice illuser 2006-04-10 ch 1, | abuse...oh great gaara the wise...good fic! |
| Fading wind 2006-04-10 ch 1, | abuseYay for the random pairings that none of us support, but still... who cares? I loved this piece. Gaara's observations are interesting. And Iruka/Anko... Hmm... Much love. ~Kaze |
| naash 2006-04-10 ch 1, | abuseowh...that was a great fic...good job. Gaara rocks |
| Queen.of.Tea 2006-04-10 ch 1, | abuseOh, that was very sweet. (Perhaps that isn't an appropriate adjective for Gaara, but in this case I'll use it ^_^). I've actually never seen Iruka/Anko before or Sasuke/Ino, ever, although it's not a bad idea.. .hm... *shoots plotbunny* You did a great job of handling the relationships, especially Gai and Lee's and the sibling dynamics. I'm faveing it. |
| sw337 p34 n3k0-ch4n 2006-04-10 ch 1, | abuseYes, he does. And it is very interesting to see how you put it. *awards a few roses* *writes name on a piece of paper* *makes an airplane* ...That was fun! *__* Gaara sees much in this piece, and it makes sense, and has a beautiful rhythm. ^__^ |
