I am also sick of those "Hermione-suddenly-turned-hot-over-the-summer-because-she-wanted-to" fics, they are just really out of character. Why be perfect, because it so boring. Anyway, I really liked the Hr/SS reference in there - so cute! :D And I also liked the part where Draco tried to do her, haha. Very Slytherin of him... if that makes sense...LOL

The contrast between the humour/parody and the all serious side, exploring the value of beauty. And I liked the little HG/SS twist ;D I read it very rarely, but they can be pretty good together and it was... sweet!

This was a wonderful story with a very in-character Hermione reacting just the way the real Hermione would if something like this happened to her. Besides, all our Miss Granger really needs to stop boys in their tracks are pretty robes and some hair product! Everyone should be so lucky...:) Bravo for addressing the issue that beauty can't buy you happiness.
