Lets put it this way...if this story becomes an R/C, it it will not be going back on my favorites list.
Not a bad chapter I guess. The next ones will be a bit better I hope. By better I mean less depressing, because while I understand that this story is quite dark, it was a bit too dark even for me.

I just finished reading through Chapter 14, straight through from Chapter 1, as I simply could not leave this fic! For one who must be pretty young, you have a great talent. I'm finding this spellbinding! I do hope you find the time to update more frequently than once a year now. If you are still looking for a beta, let me know. I am in the US, but I do beta work for a couple of American writers and am always looking for a new challenge.

Wonderful to get an update for you!

I enjoyed it, only I'm finding myself feeling very sorry for Christine...I know, what's wrong with me? I should want her to go to Erik, right? Actually, I still do, but her life is now officially in a shambles, whether she shredded the envelope or not!

I'm so glad to see you back! Erik has obviously done a wonderful job of programming Christine. Although, she is trying very hard to fight it. He even did his hypnotizing trick in order to get her to open the envelope. Things are going to get much more hectic and dangerous for Christine because of this. Hopefully, she'll be able to continue fighting Erik off.

This story is great! I've read your other modern day stories and this one is my favorite so far. I like how this on shows more of Erik's dark side.

You have also shown Raoul and Christine's marriage in a bright light. I am a strong EC shipper yet I feel sympathy for Raoul and Christine. Erik is really in character and not Mr. Nice.
