It is just that while the current, overarching story line is quite bittersweet, I (who am a sucker for such romance stories) can't help but imagine a happily ever after for the pair in your story. So I re-read the drabbles and think about canon and fanon and the future. Now go write some more, oh word-sage, and work your drabble bending on the pair! |

A very unexpected pleasure. I came to Avatar fanfiction fandom rather late, and you were among the first authors I discovered and admired. This particular drabble series is one of my all time favorites. I love how you let the music take you places; I love your characterizations (case in point, the "tomato" bit. PERFECT Sokkaism "if it was anyone but, you know, you"); I love how you place your words and choose your adjectives. You could say that this drabble series is one of my happy places... And I am fortunate that I only started reading it in January. If I had started in 2006 I would be a complete basket case waiting for you to update! For this particular drabble, my favorite parts were: "he couldn't stop reminding her with words what his body said with rhythm" and "was swept over her edge and into the glow." Both are so evocative it is heartwrenching. Thank you so much for sharing your talent and imagination. And I apologize for not taking the time to review your works earlier. |

I started clicking back through the chapters to catch myself up again, then I suddenly remembered how good it was and just went back to the begining to read it all the way through instead. I'm not usually a fan of drabble collections, but this one holds my attention because together they tell a story. and I really like stories. |
