i like it. really. a lot. englehorn is my hero! i think this could definitely fit into the movie. the one thing that bothered me about the movie was that they kinda left out what happened to the venture crew afterward. so i really like this.

I really do like this. Short, sweet, simple...and touching. You're right too...they never mentioned anything about mourning the crew after leaving Skull Island, but I suppose they have a good excuse, considering just how long the movie was, even without that part of the story. Great job in describing the aftermathish stuff...

that is *so* sweet! It breaks my heart to read it and I like how you hide Englehorn's feelings about him breaking down himself for the loss of a good crew

Oww, that was sweet! I liked it! You've got a good writing style and you've got feeling for the emotional side of a story too. This was sad and sweet! And I loved the fact that it was about Englehorn and Jimmy. You don't find many stories about the too of them... Which is too bad if you ask me.
Anyway, nice job on this one!! Hope you'll write more stories like this!
